YHello all! We hope you have been enjoying the recent good weather!
I know for some of you, today is a new change yet again as some of your siblings may be coming into school. You are all missed and although it is not everybody's turn to come back in yet, you are all on our minds and we know you are keeping safe. We look forward to seeing you all again, especially to see and hear about all the wonderful things you have been up to.

In Maths, we are continuing to use the White Rose Maths daily lessons on https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-3/, I have attached the activity sheets below and the answers will be put up in the middle of the week however there is also a new website (Maths Chase) below to try for games to practice skills. For English and Spelling, I have attached a Robin Hood Mat with activities to choose from. Remember to pick words from the year 3 and 4 list to practice too and try to use joined up handwriting in spelling practice as much as you can. Lots of your parents have told me how much your handwriting is coming along. Remember to use Lexia if you have a log in and use https://spellingframe.co.uk/spelling-rule/3/Year-3-and-4. There is also a Reading pack for the week attached below too.

I have attached a new Science sheet and Topic sheet, they are suggestions to pick from according to what interests you. I hope you have fun with both of them! These 2 sheets will be for you to continue to work on each week of this term. Good Luck!

All we want is for you to try your best! Sometimes we have a tougher day and others we get through it with time to spare so here is a link to daily lessons if you need a change on a tough day or you want an extra on an active and speedy kind of day. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/tags/zmyxxyc/year-3-and-p4-lessons/1

New for this term
Maths Chase - suitable for all abilities
from adding and subtracting 1 to times tables to prime numbers
Welcome to Maths Chase, we aim to make maths learning more fun for everyone. We have found that our simple game really helps children learn their times tables. Our games help children learn by repetition and increase their speed gradually as they become more skilled. Maths Chase allows you to increase the speed you need to answer questions as you become more confident in a fun and engaging way.
