Hope Brook - Health and Well-being

Mrs Southwell is our school ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant).    She works with individuals and small groups.

If you would like to know more about the role of an ELSA then please download the ELSA leaflet below or speak to Mrs Marshall (SENDCo).  She's usually by the playground gate on a Monda morning, or contactable via email hmarshall@hopebrook.gloucs.sch.uk
Welcome to The Nest, a place to meet with Mrs Southwell.
Hope Brook's Five Ways to Wellbeing

Take Notice: Remember the simple things that give you joy

(Five Ways to Wellbeing)

Sometimes pausing for a moment restores a sense of peace and calm. Robins took a moment to listen to the hail and rain outside. It was very calming (April 2021).

Be Active: Enjoy what you do.

As well as providing your child/ren with a learning programme, we value the importance of good health and well-being at Hope Brook. In school, we educate the children about good health and well-being through our PSHE (personal, social, health and economic) lessons. We also recognised the importance of maintaining this focus throughout the lockdown.
