KESTRELS 2023-24

2023-4 Kestrels Class (Y5/6) are taught by Mrs Hollis (Teacher), Mrs Barnes (TA)- Mon-Wed, Mrs Harrington- (TA) - Thurs-Fri, Mrs Fern (TA support) and Miss Williams (TA support)
Please ensure children:
1) Have their full PE kits in every day 
2) Bring a drinks bottle into school each day.
3) Have a quiet place to do their homework and that parents check it for them afterwards.
-All homework is given out on a Monday and returned to school on Fridays (Except for Times tables on a Tuesday).
4) Read a variety of texts at home (fiction, non-fiction and poetry).
5) Bring in a coat on cold, wet days and sun lotion / sun hat on warm, hot days.

December 1st 2023 - Christmas has begun!
CHILDREN IN NEED DAY 2023 - A very special visitor- Pudsey Bear and a Pudsey Art Attack!
Remembrance Service led by Kestrels class- many parents, members of the community and of course the British Legion made it very special.
We visited Cheltenham literature festival today to listen to two authors that inspired us to doour own historical story writing, based in World War Two.
We had a fabulous day in London- riding the London Eye, sketching the Houses of Parliament and taking a cruise down the River Thames…. The weather was very kind to us too!
